Stop Government Loopholes

Corporations are in business to make money. That's it. That's what
they do. That's what they are SUPPOSED to do. They also take advantage
of every law and tax loophole to make as much money as possible. They
also bribe, (under the legal heading of lobbying and contributing),
politicians to make these laws.
If you want corporations to change, then change the laws under which
they operate. It's that simple.
Just off the top of my head:
1. Outlaw contributions to candidates.
2. Flat tax for corps. No deductions, no exceptions.
3. If a corp does business in the US, "X" amount of it's employees
must live in the US.
4. Place a tariff on all imports so US corps can compete, (to
compensate for having to pay a higher wage to US citizens).

There are a ton more, but you get the idea. I agree we need change,
but OWSers are on the wrong street. They're about 200 miles too far
north.

It all starts and ends with government. Corporations will never do
"what's right". They exist to make as much money as possible. They are
not a church or a charity - nor should we expect them to be. If you
want change - change the laws.


As long as The Corporations keep stuffing money into the law makers
pockets, they will keep making it easy for corporations to keep making
Billions in profits. So to all those who Occupy Wall Street, you are
protesting the wrong people, go Occupy Washington and stop the law
makers. Its the law makers who keep corporations making billions
without paying taxes.

Issue 2

For me I am still on the fence on which way I should vote. I personally don't really care for unions, to me they take my money and really don't do anything for me, sure my insurance was low, I received 2 raises because the contract said so, it was not based on my performance, so I could have been the worse employee and I still would have gotten a raise, for the fact it was stated in the contract. In my opinion if the Governor  wants state and city workers to pay more for health care, more for their pensions.
