Corporations are in business to make money. That's it. That's what they do. That's what they are SUPPOSED to do. They also take advantage of every law and tax loophole to make as much money as possible. They also bribe, (under the legal heading of lobbying and contributing), politicians to make these laws. If you want corporations to change, then change the laws under which they operate. It's that simple. Just off the top of my head: 1. Outlaw contributions to candidates. 2. Flat tax for corps. No deductions, no exceptions. 3. If a corp does business in the US, "X" amount of it's employees must live in the US. 4. Place a tariff on all imports so US corps can compete, (to compensate for having to pay a higher wage to US citizens). There are a ton more, but you get the idea. Group Says Westerville South H.S. Student Was Targeted With Gay Slurs How long are we going to continue to let this happen. More and more students are going over the line and yet not much is being done about it. My thing is this, The Bully should not be allowed in school where he has a chance to attack another student. Why is there not more being done to stop this, Parent should be held accountable for what their Children do since they are still under age, I think that if we put more pressure on parents to take control of their kids it could at least be less incidents in schools. Also we need to make the schools do more than just suspend the students, I think it should be a crime to attack another student just because they are different.

You know when athlete gets to college there are a lot of rules and regulations they must follow. They are not allowed to have a job or any ways to get money, yes they may get a scholarship to play but it only covers tuition, boos, room and board, but its not enough to cover anything extra..but rules are rules, yet they are enticed to take money from boosters or alumni or whoever makes a large contribution to the school, and yet the only ones that are punished is the Athlete and the school. Well its been a while since I have been on my blog, not that I have many followers anyways. Well it seems to be alot going on in the Political world since the begining of 2011, there have been a lot of changes in the House and Senate, it seems the Republicans have gained majority of the seats in congress once again, lets see how long it last and if they are truly going to stand behind what they campaigned about to get elected, are they really going to stand up for the American people or are they just talking the same old song and dance. President Obama gave his State of the Union address the other day, lets just say not to many people were happy with what he had to say, seems like he said nothing about reducing the National Debt or cut spending, all he spoke about was spending more and more of our tax money.
